Some office basics that you need to know.


Salary Payments

Salary payments are made into your specified bank account on the 25th of each month. Deductions that are made on your gross salary include Group Life Cover, income tax and UIF payments.

If you have any specific requests regarding your salary payments, please speak to Franc. Additionally, please inform us if your banking details change.

Expense Claims

As mentioned in your contract, Roundpeg will reimburse you for any reasonable expenses related to your work at Roundpeg. Travel is reimbursed only if it is outside of Johannesburg, e.g. travelling to Pretoria to see a client. You are also able to claim up to R150pm for 3G if you use personal data for work. It is best to do this 3-4 months at a time.

The expense claims template can be found in the Tools & Templates folder. These claims need to be submitted to Franc by the 20th of each month, along with any slips. A monthly reminder will be sent to your calendar.


Leave & Timesheets

Annual Leave

You are entitled to take 21 working days annual leave for every 12 months that you are working with Roundpeg.

The offices will usually close over Christmas and New Year

As an incentive, should you take 10 days annual leave in this period, you will receive an additional 3 days leave.

Applying for Leave

Please discuss any leave you may want to take with Franc. Once it has been approved please email Franc with your leave dates so that he has them on file.

Sick Leave and Family Responsibility Leave

Your family and health are important to us! Please notify Franc if you will not be coming into the office due to any form of illness or family responsibility.

Logging a Call with Seven C

  1. Mention you are from Roundpeg or Step Advisory
  2. Describe your issue
  3. Request an IT technician’s assistance
  4. You will be sent an email from Seven C confirming your request for support

We do have a representative from Seven C in the office on Wednesday mornings. Please notify Pauline Noko before COB on Tuesday if there is anything specific you need him to look at or fix.
